May 2000. Of interest to several countries was the rate and time of methyl bromide fumigation of containers to ensure freedom from live reptiles and amphibeans as stowaways.

The accepted rate used in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, for stowaway reptiles, geckos and snakes is 48 gms/m³ at 21?? for 24 hours.
