December 2001. Two moths were sent for identification by the Entomology and Zoology Division, Department of Agriculture, Bangkok.

First row. Geometrid moth with wing span: male 60-64 mm; female 68 mm. The Geometrid is Abraxas sp., probably A lugubris

Second row. Lasiocampid moth with wing span: male 81 mm: female 100-120 mm. It was thought that this was a Paralebeda species. Although other thought it might be Lymantria dispar, the Gypsy moth. However, it was said that L dispar does not occur in Thailand.
