| September 2014. Papua New Guinea (OPRA) asked the identification of a fern that dominates food gardens and grasslands on East New Britain. It is widespread.
It was identified as Sphaerostephanus unitus (Thelypteridaceae), the fish-bone fern. A close up of the sori is need to see their arrangement.
