The article concerns surveys done on Choiseul, Solomon Islands, for Cocoa pod borer, Conopomorpha cramerella. The survey group were expected to present their findings towards the end of the first week of May.

There was a lot of interest about whether or not it had reached Solomon Islands. It was thought unlikely at this time.
