August 2006. A lady beetle was found feeding on wild bittermelon in Guam and was thought to be Henosepilachna cucurbitae, formerly Epilachna cucurbitae, and confirmation was requested. It was agreed that the identification was probably correct, but confirmation required a study of the genitalia. Other suggestions were, Henosepilachna vigintioctopunctata and Epilachna viginsexpunctata (Boisduval).
