Pycnoscelus surinamensis, Guadalcanal

August 2004. Reports have been received about an outbreeak if a member of the Blattidae damaging sweet potato on the weather coast of Guadalcanal.

It was suggested that it was Pycnoscelus surinamensis, the Surinan cockroach.
