July 2006. This snail, photographed in Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia, was identified by David Robinson (USDA) as likely to be Paropeas achatinaceum (L.Pfeiffer, 1846). It is a memeber of the Subulinidae. According to farmers, the snails appears in large number and causes significant damage to Chinese cabbage.
