May 2016. For the second time, a rhinoceros beetle was found damaging a young coconut fruit. Previously, it was thought to be damage caused by rats! In this instance, the beetle died in the fruit, probably drowned in the coconut water. Has other people seen this? The same has been seen occasionally in Guam.
