January 2008. A pest reported from Trinidad and Tobago. It was collected in pheromne traps set out for Cylas formicarius.

This was identified as Typophorus, probably T. nigritus. It is very widespread on Convolvulaceae and is an occasional pest of sweetpotato in the USA.
