Egg parasitoids, brown planthopper, Indonesia

February 2012. Egg parasitoids were sent for identification. They had emerged from the brown planthopper in Indonesia.

The photos were sent to Dr John Jennings (an Associate) at The Univiersity of Adelaide, and he suggested asking Dr Serguie Triapitsyn, University of California, Riverside. Here is his response:

I have looked at the photographs and although identification of the wasps from them is difficult, here are tentative IDs on some of them:
Anagrus sp. (top, left), possibly A. (Anagrus)nilaparvatae (Pang & Wang) or a species near it (the ovipositor is too long than in A. nilaparvatae from other countries).
Anagrus (Paranagrus) optabilis (Perkins) (top, right), most likely (a delphacid egg parasitoid).
Not an Anagrus but an Erythmelus (Erythmelus) sp. (bottom, left), almost certainly not a delphacid parasitoid but rather a mirid egg parasitoid; further ID is not possible.
The Oligosita sp. seems to be correct although the important details are not visible; I cannot identify it any further, it is a mess of a genus.
