June 2013. Advice was requested on wilting Gerbera plants. In the first two pics, the pedicel of the flowers have dried and so have flowers. In the third, there are some chlorotic spots on the wrinkled leaves. Farmer has sprayed thiophanate methyl
but without success. Suggestions were requested.

A quick look on the Internet and one of Australia’s most famous gardeners – Don Burke – of Burke’s backyard fame(!), mentions Sclerotium stem rot and Phytophthora as two diseases to watch out for on his Gerbera fact sheet, so please look these up and see if they fit:
