RiceIPM

December 2001. RiceIPM – An interactive information and identification system for Integrated Pest Management of rice – was released internationally in November 2001. The aim of RiceIPM is to provide extension officers, researchers, students and farmers with a comprehensive source of information and training material for improving the management of rice pests, including insect pests, diseases and weeds. Users can navigate through this material in any way they want in order to meet their own specific information and learning needs. The combination of video, images, hypertext links, interactive (Lucid) keys, a quiz, a tutorial and hundreds of fact sheets provide a unique way of accessing the wealth of material contained on the CD.
