Pseudococcus solomonensis

December 2001. The mealybug, Pseudococcus solomonensis (Williams), has been identified in Samoa, probably a first record. Williams and Watson (1988) have reported the presence of this mealybug species in Solomon Islands and PNG. Beardsley (1966) recorded it in few locations in Micronesia. Where else has it been recorded iin the Pacific Islands?
