July 2011. Three images of Katydids from Solomon Islands were sent for identification.

A member said that they are tettigonids, family Tettigoniidae. Later, the images were sent to Dave Rentz who runs the Bunyipco blog (www.bunyipco.blogspot.com/). He kindly snet them to Piotr Naskrecki who sent this identification:

The green katydid (Kovi11 & 12) is Ocica, most likely O. salomonis (Willemse); the brown one (Kovi30) looks like the undescribed species of Anthracites that I have collected near Honiara.
