Scale insect, citrus, northern Vietnam Minimize

February 2016. Could anyone provide an ID of a scale insect that has infested citrus trees in Van Ho district, Son La Province (North mountain province) of Vietnam?

It was regretted that the photographs were too small and low resolution to enable an identification to be made; they are probably of Hemiptera: Coccomorpha: Diaspididae. The slide-mounted specimens appear to be of immature stages, possibly from more than one species.

A paper was sent on the preparation of slide mounts of adult female scale insects. Good quality slide mounts of adult females are essential for the identification of scale insects and mealybugs.
