Entomopathogenic fungi, culturing Minimize

April 2008. A request from Zambia for information on the culturing of entomopathogenic fungi. A Calidea has been found with a white mycelium growing from its spiracles.

A recipe was provided:
Sucrose 20g
Agar 15g
Peptone 5g
MgSO4 0.25g
K2HPO4 0.25g
Water 1 liter.

First mixed all ingredients and autoclave the medium. EPF are successfully grown in this medium.
