Possibly pink wax scale, tea, Sri Lanka

April 2017. Is this the pink wax scale on tea in Talawakelle, Central Province, Sri Lanka?

A member wrote, looking at the photos, the external characters resemble the genus Ceroplastes. However, there are several species of Ceroplastes are reported on Camellia. Ceroplastes sinensis and C. rubens are recorded from Sri Lanka.
