January 2005. Insects intercepted from Signal grass, Bracharia decumbens, seeds imported by Fiji from Australia.
The Australian Museum and CSIRO Entomology gave the following suggestions:
Left photo:
- Leiochrine Tenebrionid (not a pest species) (bottom left)
- Coccinellid, Micraspis frenata (not a pest species) (bottom right)
- Carabid, probably pterostichine (not a pest) (top right)
- Weevil, could be a grass pest (top left); possibly a curculionid (Curculionidae)
