January 2016. A weevil brought in by a farmer in Palau that is attacking breadfruit. What is it?

A former member of SPC (Secretariat of the Pacific Community) said that he had seen a weevil attacking branches of breadfruit in Palau, and he thought that it was in the Don Nafus report (1997). It has been sent for identification through SPC, and found to be Aclees porosus, the breadfruit twig borer. In Palau, it is on Artocarpus communis. It maybe the same one that is causing the present problem.
