THIS POST IS A REPEAT OF 10636 AND WAS IDENTIFIED AS MIRID NYMPHS: Images of immature bugs from Hagenia trees – African redwood or rosewood – sent for identification from Ethiopia.

September 2014. An aphid from Ethiopia.

Possibly Macrosiphum euphorbiae (Ashmead), which can occur in either pink or green forms. However, for authoritative identification, aphids need to be identified from slide-mounted wingless adult specimens.

Later, two members said that these were mirid nymphs.
