April 2005. Two bugs were sent for identification without any information on the host or even country.
The first (left) was identified as Dysdercus sidae Montrouzier (Hemiptera, Pyrrhocoridae). See: http://www.ento.csiro.au/aicn/name_s/b_1464.htm.
The second, (right) is a Hemiptera, a coreid bug; it is the fifth instar of a coreid nymph, likely a species of Amorbus.
